The Role:  

BlueVoyant is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to join the Product Management team for building AI powered features and cybersecurity platform. The PM plays a primary role within BlueVoyant’s product development lifecycle, using creative thinking, market awareness, and technical acumen to develop products that will defend our enterprise and government customers from cyberattacks.

You will work closely with the Head of SaaS and AI through all stages of the agile product development lifecycle from ideation to develop the next generation of BlueVoyant’s agentic AI security solutions for our customers.

Our ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of developing and launching AI/ML/NLP/deep learning/generative AI -based software products in the cybersecurity market and is excited about the opportunity to innovate on our next generation technologies. You have a technical background and are comfortable with taking a leadership role in driving projects with cross-functional team members from Product, Engineering, and IT.  We are seeking a technically trained PM who is comfortable engaging with development and engineering teams at a detailed level to develop features that solve complex cybersecurity challenges.

BlueVoyant’s product strategy is fundamentally centered on using data and automation to build highly scalable platforms to serve our customers.  The products and solutions you will build in this role enhance our Managed Detections and Response, as well as deliver security value to customers directly as software solutions and SaaS services.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Strategy: 
  • Collaborate with the engineering, data science, DevOps, MLOps teams, setting clear goals and expectations while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tech partners, marketing, sales, UX/UI designers, and customers to ensure a cohesive product strategy that meets market needs and creates customer delight.  
  • Close collaboration with Product Management teams to triangulate business requirements driving new AI/ML/genAI features and products
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and content generation to maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Thinking creatively to identify and differentiate automation and ML driven features into technical specifications for the Engineering teams
• Product Development: 
  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Autonomous and agentic SOC using Machine learning and generative AI technologies, aligning with the company's vision and objectives. 
  • Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to inform new features and improvements for the AI-driven content automation system. 
  • Translate technical details into user and business value to guide the prioritization of product features and decisions. 
  • Lead the product development lifecycle from conception to release, ensuring that deadlines are met, and quality standards are upheld. 
  • Evaluate and incorporate user feedback to iterate on and enhance the product. 
  • Development of field enablement and training documentation including strategy, roadmap, marchitecture diagrams, and stakeholder presentations 
  • Continuous assessment of current and new technologies, processes, and ways of working to help BlueVoyant continuously adapt to customer needs and market conditions
• Skills: 
  • Have demonstrable experience and a successful track record of developing AI/ML products or services from conception to launch (preferably for the cybersecurity market)
  • Understand cloud infrastructure, services, and concepts within multiple cloud ecosystems, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.  Expertise in Azure is particularly desirable.
  • Have experience working with SIEM and XDR technologies
  • Have experience working with Data science and engineering, ML Ops, DevOps teams.
  • Have a strong understanding of software and platform development processes, including secure SDLC and developing on modern cloud application architectures
  • Possess some knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, including M365 Defender, Sentinel, and Defender for Cloud
  • Enjoy working in highly collaborative environments, and thrive on rarely being the smartest person in the room
  • Have experience with Product Management tools including Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira, Aha, Azure DevOps).
  • Be a strong communicator and motivated to learn something new every day

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Management or similar role in the Cybersecurity and/or SaaS services.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in technical product management, preferably using forms of AI like Generative AI, NLP Data science or similar technologies. 
• Experience in the cybersecurity industry is strongly preferred
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
• Experience working with open architecture applications and REST APIs
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Analytics or equivalent professional experience, Master’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrable experience working with Azure cloud services, including Graph API, Log Analytics, and Sentinel

Preferred Competencies

• Experience with front end languages including JavaScript, Typescript, React and Node.js
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services 
• Experience working with Agile frameworks including Scrum, XP, lean, Disciplined Agile, or others
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH are desirable, but not required
• Demonstrable experience will be given preference over certifications
