This team supports our retail-owners---with both process and technology—in managing, reporting, and driving value from transactional and operational data.
The primary tool used in this role is AgriMine®, a WU-proprietary system for reporting, cleaning, and standardizing point-of-sale data, including crop protection, seed, and fertilizer product sales. This data is relied on by the retailers, WinField United, and basic manufacturers for things like sales insights, incentive & rebate programs, compliance tracking, and more. The RDS Team works with WU’s retail-owners to ensure data in the AgriMine® reporting system is accurate and actionable.
The Retail Data Specialist role is our retail-owners’ primary point of contact for day-to-day data reporting in the AgriMine® system and will regularly work with their assigned accounts to review, understand, and improve data management health at the retail level. This role is the expert in the AgriMine® system and is responsible for training and supporting retail-users on the system and managing data within it.
This role is remote/virtual and can be located anywhere in the United States
Responsibilities:

Support electronic reporting of our retail-owners’ transactional data
Proactively work with retail-users to report, monitor, audit, and problem-solve data within the AgriMine® system
Build and maintain long-term relationships with AgriMine® users
Ensure quality & integrity of data in the system. Support data accuracy and, where needed, manage retailer data in AgriMine® system (in partnership with the retail-users)

Level One support for retailer-users in the AgriMine® system
Responsible for solving system or data issues with retailer-users; issues may include data reporting errors, incorrect data elements, missing data, adding or updating seed licenses etc.
Understand, address, and escalate our retail-owners’ issues with AgriMine® system, process, and programs

AgriMine® system onboarding/training for retailers
Responsible for training and assisting the individuals at retailers who will be in the AgriMine® system. Includes ongoing training on enhancements, updates, and new system functionality
Provide subject matter expertise for using the system
Share enhancement feedback with manager, internal partners and technology vendor

Retailer data health management
Identify trends in the data issues and partner with cross-functional team to think through solutions to avoid errors at the root cause
Experience/Knowledge/Skills :
4-year degree along with 1-2 years customer service-related experience; related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
Detail-oriented; enjoys digging into data to identify & resolve issues/errors
Strong customer service skills required; ability to communicate information at different levels of detail effectively and inspire others to take action
Time management; juggling many tasks with tight or fluctuating deadlines and pivoting priorities
Basic data analysis skills
Preferred Experience
Experience with systems like Microsoft Office (incl. Excel, Word & PowerBI)
Experience with task-tracking / CRM tools a plus but not required
Ag industry experience; preferred experience with ag business data (ex: product, customer, sales data)

Salary Range: $69,040-$103,560
