We focus on the following sectors: Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, Marketing & Customer Experience, Data Science and  HR, Transformation & Change. The Dutch team is experiencing strong growth and has now built up an impressive client portfolio, supported by and cooperating with colleagues from our international offices. Sia Netherlands employs approximately 60 consultants.

The Role: This isn't just another data job. As a Business Data Consultant, you'll blend analytics with actionable business strategies, working alongside experts in diverse sectors. Whether you’re diving deep into data lakes or strategizing in boardrooms, every day will challenge you to bridge the gap between numbers and narratives. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Partner with our sector specialists to extract, interpret, and implement data-derived business insights. 
• Drive data-centric projects from conception to execution, all within a dynamic consulting framework. 
• Harness Python-based tools to facilitate data analysis, visualization, and strategic implementation. 

Qualifications

Who You Are: 

• Experience: You have at least 1 year under your belt, be it in full-time roles, significant side projects, or internships. 
• T-Shaped Expertise: Deeply skilled in your data specialty, but versatile enough to navigate the broad spectrum of data challenges. 
• Sector Enthusiast or Functional Prodigy: Either deeply passionate about a sector we operate in or a maestro in data functionality irrespective of the industry. 
• Consulting Mindset: Pragmatic, top-down thinker, always eyeing the 80/20 in every challenge. You thrive in high-impact, short timeline scenarios. 

Must-Haves: 

• Fluent in Dutch
• Proficiency in Python
• Strong analytical foundation with a track record of turning insights into action.
