Job Description:

What You’ll Do

Responsible for leading a team to support enterprise data management and data governance programs. Responsible for the design, development and implementation of data quality, data stewardship, metadata management and sensitive data management applications.  Develops and coaches teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee.

How You’ll Do It

  • Drives organizational engagement for initiatives that drive enterprise data management. Supports data management initiatives and enforces data management standards.
  • Provides timely coaching, feedback, and direction to employees to help them develop their capabilities and enable them to perform to their potential.
  • Partners with the business and technology teams to complete business initiatives.
  • Responsible for the reporting of progress and statuses to management.
  • Partners with risk and audit teams to identify and mitigate data risk in organizations

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, or related
  • 6+ years of experience in data management and solutions, or related
  • 4+ years of people management experience
  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in data management and solutions, or related

Physical & Cognitive Requirements

  • Primarily remain in a stationary position.
  • Occasionally move about the work environment to complete the major responsibilities of the job.
  • Primarily performed indoors in an office setting.
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as but not limited to computer, telephone, printer, and calculator.
  • Ability to communicate verbally.; Ability to communicate in written form.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Developed and implemented Enterprise-Wide Data Quality strategy and program
  • Experienced in the identification and remediation of data defects through tooling and automation
  • Experience in executing oversight and monitoring of an Enterprise Data Management program (Data Quality, Data Classification, Retention & Disposal, etc.)
  • Self-starter able to execute in a fast paced and quickly changing environment.
  • Keen eye for identifying and implementing solutions to drive efficiencies in executing oversight in Enterprise Data Management programs.
  • Experience with Data Quality for Critical Data Elements
  • Masters Degree in Information Technology, or related
  • 8+ years of experience in information management and data analysis, or related

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,000.00 to $178,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
