Are you looking for an opportunity to build a market-changing product? The Manager, AI Product Content role leads the delivery of internal process changes for tax software content development that will revolutionize our time-to-market and accuracy in serving our tax customers in Global Tax & Trade.
Your mission will be to harness the power of AI and key technologies to improve and automate how we update the content in our many tax & trade products globally. This mission serves our wider vision to create the most accurate products that provide our customers with what they need, when they need it. In this role, you will report to the Vice President, Product Content, Global Tax & Trade and support teams across indirect, direct, and global tax compliance.
Thomson Reuters leads at the intersection of content and technology with trusted data, workflow automation, and AI. TR has a bold vision to be the leader in AI-powered, content-driven technology, and this role will work closely with colleagues from Product, Compliance, Engineering, TR Labs, and Operations who are already dedicated to delivering on this mission. In this role, you will work with leaders and stakeholders from these teams in refining our AI internal roadmap, while also playing a very hands-on role in leading cross-functional distributed product teams through idea generation, discovery, and delivery.
About the role,
In this role as the Manager, AI Product Content you will:
Use your technical, tax expertise to provide strategic support to the Tax & Trade Leadership team on AI projects identified for internal projects.
Manage and execute the vision for the AI Leadership team, focusing on reporting, communications, and project leadership within the Tax & Trade Product Content organization.
Partner on AI and innovation projects with product managers across tax and accounting, with a particular focus on partnering with tax & trade technology partners.
Combine your knowledge of AI, data science and machine learning with an understanding of our customers, content and people to facilitate the timely and appropriate interface between product managers, technology partners, strategy teams, subject matter experts, and content development teams.
Collaborate with subject matter experts across teams and product areas to ensure that our and tax and trade expertise are effectively and efficiently leveraged at every stage of the development process in relation to AI growth initiatives.
Collaborate across the leadership team to ensure cohesive AI strategies across products. Drive efficiency and excellence; support shared learning.
Foster expertise across the team in the latest developments in AI technology relevant to tax and trade development work.
About You,
You're a fit for the role of Manager, AI Product Content if you have:
5+ years of experience in tax management roles, with exposure proven experience leveraging generative AI technologies.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for various audiences.
Strong analytical skills and experience in creating and interpreting reports and data visualizations.
A proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
Proven interest and engagement with our tax customers and the impact of AI on their professions.
Experience in change management and the ability to drive adoption of new technologies and processes.
A strategic mindset, with the ability to align AI tax initiatives with broader organizational goals.
Adaptability and comfort with working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and influence decision-making at various levels.
A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for exploring how generative AI can revolutionize tax processes and tax content creation.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Tax and/or Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Postgraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications in AI, Data science or Machine learning a plus.
Relevant project management or product management qualifications or certifications (or recent practical experience with agile methodologies)
Tax return preparation in direct or indirect tax or exposure to the tax preparation process
Knowledge of developing AI and data governance advantageous
