The Team

Fidelity's Workplace Investing Reporting and Analytics chapter is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in building a Power BI and snowflake-based reporting application.


Team is responsible for building reports in Power BI with Snowflake as the source of data for the reports.

Team needs to work closely with the Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) team for data acquisition for the reports and with the Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) team to migrate the OAS based reports to Power BI.

This person will be self-driven and work with technical partners to build Power BI reports with Snowflake as the data source. The role demands knowledge and expertise in Power BI and Snowflake and ability to collaborate with members of various business and IT groups throughout the lifecycle of a typical project. The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / similar technical subject area and 8+ years’ experience
  • Extensive experience in Snowflake and AWS
  • Extensive experience in Data engineering, Data Modeling and Data analysis
  • Extensive experience in Power BI
  • Extensive experience in working in a data warehouse environment
  • Experience in OBIEE/OAS is preferred
  • Experience in Airflow, Oracle, PL/SQL, Informatica is preferred
  • Experience in delivering DaaS ( Data as a Service)
  • Functional /Domain experience of workplace investment plans such as 401k retirement plans, HSA etc. is preferred
