Python Developer

SUMMARY
The Data Scientist will be responsible for data modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning to uncover valuable insights from our complex datasets, allowing Clario to use data to directly impact patient care, operational efficiency, and the development of innovative solutions.

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to design and develop scalable data solutions that support clinical trials and healthcare innovation. This role involves back-end development, data processing, system integration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software solutions in compliance with industry regulations.

What You’ll Bring

• Software Development: Write clean, reusable, and scalable Python code using frameworks like Django and Flask to support clinical data solutions.
• System Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software architectures that integrate with operational and analytical applications.
• API Development: Build and maintain REST APIs for seamless data exchange across platforms and services.
• Data Engineering & Analytics: Develop data pipelines and optimize data processing solutions for clinical and business applications.
• Testing & Debugging: Implement automated testing frameworks, resolve software bugs, and enhance system reliability.
• Cloud & Database Management: Work with AWS, SQL databases, and other cloud-based services to optimize performance and scalability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to develop and deploy effective data-driven solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure software solutions adhere to industry regulations, including GCP, ICH guidelines, and FDA standards for clinical trial data management.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Python Developer in software engineering or data-related roles.
• Proficiency in Python (Django, Flask) and SQL/databases.
• Experience with REST APIs, AWS, version control (Git), and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Understanding of clinical trial processes and data management best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be based in Costa Rica and legally authorized to work in the country.
