This position is for Manager in GLOBALFOUNDRIES' India center at Bangalore, supporting 300/ 200 mm wafer fabs. This position is for a skilled Automation and Analytics Manager to lead our efforts in optimizing processes and leveraging data insights.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers and data analysts to achieve high performance and professional growth.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for automation and analytics that align with the company’s business goals.

  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of automation and analytics projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.

  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements through automation and data analytics, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance, to identify and prioritize automation and analytics initiatives.

  • Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.

  • Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in automation and analytics, and integrate new technologies and methodologies into the team’s work.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of automation and analytics initiatives.

  • Budget Management: Manage the budget for the automation and analytics team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress and outcomes of automation and analytics projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of experience.

  • Proven experience in managing automation and analytics teams.

  • Strong understanding of automation technologies, data analytics, and machine learning.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with data governance and compliance.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

  • Familiarity with automation tools like UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere.

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
