Palantir Software Engineer and Development Manager, Senior

The Opportunity:
As a senior Palantir Software Engineer and Development Manager, you will lead full lifecycle software development efforts within Palantir Foundry, focusing on building scalable data pipelines, applications, and integrations. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, including mentoring junior engineers, managing development roadmaps, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive successful pilot implementations.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-impact data solutions, leading technical workshops, and ensuring best practices in code development, repository management, and deployment strategies.

What You'll Work On:

  • Architect, develop, and optimize Foundry-based applications and data pipelines.

  • Guide the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment.

  • Lead technical workshops, training sessions, and Foundry adoption initiatives.

  • Provide technical leadership for junior engineers and act as a mentor in best practices.

  • Oversee code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and software governance within the team.

  • Drive ontology mapping, data modeling, and API development to support data integration.

  • Work with leadership and stakeholders to define development roadmaps and sprint planning.

  • Establish and enforce DevSecOps principles within Foundry projects.

You Have:

  • Experience with Python, TypeScript, and Foundry AIP for application development

  • Experience with Pipeline Builder for data ingestion and transformation

  • Experience leading agile software teams, conducting code reviews, and implementing DevSecOps practices

  • Experience with Git repositories, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure automation

  • Ability to engage with stakeholders, define requirements, and translate them into technical solutions

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as a development manager or with technical team leadership

  • Experience with contested logistics, mission analytics, or government-focused data solutions

  • Experience with AI or ML model integration within Foundry applications

  • Knowledge of Foundry security models, access control, and compliance frameworks

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
