The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing complex datasets to provide actionable insights that drive medical strategies, improve patient outcomes, and align with organizational goals. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics and a strong ability to communicate findings effectively to diverse stakeholders within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to support Medical Affairs strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as medical impact, patient outcomes, and strategic initiative benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and data integration across projects.
- Translate business needs into analytics solutions, delivering actionable recommendations based on robust data analysis.
- Conduct exploration analytics using tools such as SQL, Power BI, etc.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Develop statistical models to forecast trends, identify unmet medical needs, and optimize resource allocation.
- Present complex data insights in a clear, concise manner tailored to various audiences, including executives and field teams.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide expertise in analytics, best practices and tools.
- Stay up to date with advancements in analytics, data visualization, and healthcare industry trends to continuously improve processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Engineering, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within Medical Affairs or the healthcare industry.
- Experience in advanced data analytics tools: SQL and Excel.
- Expertise in data visualization platforms such as Power BI.
- Experience with database management and data integration techniques.
- Experience with Azure Data Bricks, Logic Apps, and cloud-based analytics solutions.
- Experience with Medical Affairs operations, pharmaceutical/biotech industry data, and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of healthcare datasets, such as claims data, electronic health records (EHR), and clinical trial data.

- Proven track record of delivering impactful insights to cross-functional teams.
- Strong ability to work in a matrix environment to solve complex problems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to perform both individually and collaboratively as part of a team.
