Job Description

Shift: Mid Shift

Strategic Analytics is a growing team at Arch. The team develops innovative predictive models and analytical tools to improve profitability and growth. This position will help support the data analytics needs across a growing portfolio of high-profile digital projects by building smart datasets and extracting useful insights by leveraging a diverse set of tools and languages. This includes the following cutting edge technologies available via our cloud environment; Snowflake, Spark, Python, R and Azure Data Factory. As a key member of the Strategic Analytics team, you will advance our overall capabilities helping the team analyze data faster.  

• Work closely with the strategic analytics team to understand the business problems and create the best-suited datasets
• Perform data manipulation using SQL and/or Python to develop data assets
• Use technology to automate data ingestion, transformation, and integration
• Work jointly with modeling team to extract important insights based on business needs
• Collaborate with data visualization and modeling teams to create dashboards that effectively convey the output of the analysis
• Build tools to advance data engineering capabilities
• Provide the appropriate level of documentation of sources and technical solutions
• Evaluate data quality and completeness

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has 2+ years’ experience in data analytics using SQL and R or Python
• Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented
• Excellent critical thinking skills to tackle complex data challenges
• Experience predictive modeling and data visualization is a plus
• Comfortable working in fast paced, highly collaborative environment
• Ability to effectively communicate to different target audiences
