Xometry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and data analytics, and be able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.This is a 1-year contract with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Translate business problems into technical solutions
- Collaborate with other engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver data-driven insights
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in data engineering and analytics
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or analytics engineer
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with SQL, dbt, and Looker.
- Knowledge of scientific software principles, including version control, code reproducibility, and deployment practices.
- Business Acumen: Ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for finding innovative solutions.
Additional Requirement: Must be able to work core hours aligned with US Eastern Time (GMT-5).
