3D Product Data Manager (Senior)

As a 3D Product Data Manager you have at least 3+ years of industry experience in CAD based 3D Visualization; ideally in the automotive sector.

You are familiar with Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max and Unreal Engine and can deal with complex CGI production pipelines. Additional Modeling knowledge is a big advantage.
You are a problem solver and possess good technical skills.

Role & Responsibilities

• As a 3D Product Data Manager your task is to prepare and organize the supplied 100% to 150% 3D construction datasets into 3D visualization models for the production process; mainly in Autodesk Maya.
• You are involved in the entire product data process chain from data delivery of the 3D construction data, to the management of the data sets, to the delivery of the final, product-correct assets to the client.
• You feel responsible to assure the product correctness and technical quality of your created assets from start to end during the whole visualization process.
• You work with standardized geometry data logic, layers and consistent nomenclature.

• You will also work with specific product logic tools and configurators.
• You will assist to develop and constantly improve 3D visualization processes.
• As a team player you are working together with a growing number of dedicated and highly motivated CG Artists.

Requirements

• You have a profound knowledge of Maya, additional experience in 3DS Max and Unreal Engine is a big plus.
• You already have experience in dealing with complex CGI pipelines.
• You possess good technical knowledge, knowing Python/MEL is a plus.
• You are an independent and structured worker. 
• You already have knowledge about CAD and 3D visualization, ideally in the automotive sector.
• Knowledge of configurators and product logic is an advantage.
• You are able to work in a team, commitment and resilience.
• You have a self-confident appearance also towards customers.
• You are characterized by your great interest in high-quality visualizations.
