We're looking for a Senior Financial Data Analyst to enhance Bolt’s finance function by introducing new tools, automating processes, and helping colleagues make better data-driven decisions.

About us

With over 200 million customers in 50+ countries, Bolt is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe and Africa. And it's all thanks to our people.

We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.

Our ultimate goal is to make cities for people, not cars, and we need your help to achieve this mission!

About the role

As a Senior Financial Data Analyst, you will play a key role in building and improving Bolt's backend finance systems, primarily by expanding the capabilities and usage of the Workiva platform.

You’ll work closely with key internal stakeholders to design scalable finance support systems. A major focus will be the ESG project, where you’ll help report sustainability figures.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing Bolt's backend finance systems to support business growth.
  • Defining key business metrics—identifying the most meaningful ones, ensuring visibility, and making them actionable.
  • Driving initiatives from concept to successful execution.
  • Enabling teams to self-serve dashboards and conduct regular analysis using pre-defined datasets.
  • Improving data analytics tools by suggesting and implementing enhancements while challenging existing approaches.

About you:

  • You have at least 4 years of experience in an analytical role working with large data sets. Background in consulting, data analysis, business intelligence, or data-driven solutions is a plus.
  • You are great at making data-driven and metric-driven decisions.
  • You have amazing SQL and Excel skills. Experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • You have a hands-on experience with data visualization and proficiency in at least one BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
  • You act like an owner: managing your own backlog and stakeholders, relentlessly prioritising for maximum impact, and owning and leading data & analytics projects.

Experience is great, but we also look for drive, intelligence, and integrity. So, even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying if you feel you’re the kind of person described above!

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Play a direct role in shaping the future of mobility.
  • Impact millions of customers and partners in 600+ cities across 50+ countries.
  • Work in fast-moving autonomous teams with some of the smartest people in the world.
  • Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
  • Get a rewarding salary and stock option package that lets you focus on doing your best work.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of working in a hybrid mode with a minimum of 2 days in the office each week to foster strong connections and teamwork.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
