Your Purpose 

We are seeking a Quantitative Trader to join our dynamic systematic trading team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you’ll be responsible for researching, developing, and optimizing quantitative trading strategies across both spot and derivatives crypto instruments. You will collaborate closely with traders and developers, contributing to the full lifecycle of strategy ideation, testing, deployment, and performance monitoring. With a focus on automation and systematic approaches, we’re looking for someone who thrives in an intellectually stimulating environment and has a passion for solving complex problems with data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research & Strategy Development: Proactively research new trading ideas and opportunities based on market developments, identifying potential sources of alpha and inefficiencies.
• Strategy Optimization: Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of current trading strategies across multiple instruments, ensuring they remain effective in changing market conditions.
• Market Regime Identification: Identify and track fundamental regime changes in the market and order books, ensuring that the desk’s strategies remain robust and adaptive to shifts in market structure.
• Cross-Asset Analysis: Work on both spot and derivatives markets (futures and options.), developing insights that help improve our strategies across a wide range of crypto instruments.
• Collaboration & Automation: Collaborate closely with senior traders, quantitative researchers, and developers. Contribute to the development of fully automated, systematic approaches that enable high-frequency trading at scale.
• Risk Management: Monitor live strategies and risk metrics to ensure adherence to risk parameters and identify areas for improvement or intervention.
• Pre-Production Implementation: Contribute to the pre-production implementation of strategies in Python/R, including backtesting, simulation, and parameter optimization.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-5 years of quantitative trading experience, ideally from a high-frequency trading (HFT) firm or similar systematic trading environment.
• Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial markets, particularly high-frequency trading and systematic quantitative strategies. Experience in crypto markets is expected. DeFi experience is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Python for strategy development and data analysis. Ability to implement strategies and algorithms from theory to pre-production stage.
• Quantitative Mindset: A strong quantitative background in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields. You should be comfortable working with complex mathematical models and large datasets.
• Risk Appetite: An individual who is not afraid to take educated risks based on data-driven insights and who enjoys pushing the boundaries of existing strategies.
• Communication & Collaboration: A collaborative team player with the ability to work in a flat, meritocratic environment. Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas and insights effectively across teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Automation: Experience with automating trading workflows, performance monitoring, and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Crypto Markets: Experience working with crypto spot and derivatives markets, and understanding how crypto liquidity differs from traditional financial markets.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to quickly analyze large datasets and develop actionable insights for improving trading performance.
• Experience with Risk Systems: Familiarity with building and maintaining risk management tools and metrics in a trading environment.

Machine Learning: Experience using machine learning-based predictive models in real-time trading systems to enhance decision-making and strategy performance.
