Our Product Management Team
At Second Dinner, the MARVEL SNAP product management team are game developers. We are intimate partners with game design, UX, production, art, engineering, marketing, data, and analytics. These partnerships are critical to creating a game that is fun for our players and achieving our goals. Product managers at Second Dinner are embedded in the game team, write design specs, create wireframes, engage on scope and prioritization with engineering and production, and deep dive on analytics with data scientists. Every day will create new exciting opportunities to make an amazing game and team even better!
Your Role
We’re seeking a strategic-yet-hands-on Principal Product Manager to lead the evolution of the Marvel Snap shop experience for our players. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with a talented, cross-functional team of product managers, data analysts, data scientists and engineers to gain deep insights into what Snap players purchase and why. Your focus will be on translating these insights into compelling offers, promotions, rewards, features and other initiatives that create outstanding shopping experiences for players and drive sustainable revenue improvements for Marvel Snap.
We’re looking for someone who has an exemplary career managing high-performing free-to-play economies and a strong track record of success optimizing revenue. This is a data-driven role where you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to rapidly iterate and ship improvements to Marvel Snap’s shopping experience across platforms (mobile, web and PC).
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Leadership
Identify and prioritize monetization opportunities, building out a strategic roadmap for the team to execute against
Create models and frameworks to continuously improve decision making around monetization efforts
Report on monetization performance to leadership, stakeholders and the broader Marvel Snap team
Optimization
Work with the Product team to constantly update pricing and value for all existing in-game purchases based on performance
Improve the player experience throughout the purchasing funnel to drive improvements to conversion and revenue per purchaser
Innovation
Identify fresh and compelling new ways to monetize existing content
Develop new types of high-value content and experiences that players are will to pay for
Identify new ways to use personalization, targeting, segmentation and other tools to provide customized shopping experiences for players
Collaboration:
Work closely with the product, design, marketing, analytics and data science teams to align monetization strategies with the overall goals for Marvel Snap
Partner with the development team to experiment freely, iterate rapidly and regularly ship impactful improvements
Analysis
Use analytics to understand the impact of all changes made to the Marvel Snap economy and shopping experience
Leverage experimentation and personalization to understand player behaviors and purchasing drivers on a deep level
Continuously improve monetization strategies based on both quantitative and qualitative insights
What You’ll Need:
Proven product ownership (PO) experience on one or more successful, free-to-play games as a service
Robust experience as a product manager with responsibility for a high-performing, free-to-play game economy and its monetization
Excellent proficiency with hands-on monetization analysis via spreadsheets, data analytics tools and data visualization
A strong educational background in an analytical discipline such as Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics or Finance
The outstanding communication and collaboration skills needed to lead cross-functional development teams in a remote work environment
Nice to Have But Not Necessary:
Proficiency or fluency with Google Looker
Ability to code in SQL / R / Python or other analytics and modeling platforms
MS/MBA in a quantitative discipline
The total compensation for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of:
Senior II Product Manager, Revenue (MARVEL SNAP): 180K to 225K + equity + comprehensive benefits + potential for discretionary performance bonuses
Principal Product Manager, Revenue (MARVEL SNAP): 200K to 250K + equity + comprehensive benefits + potential for discretionary performance bonuses
Individual pay within this salary range may span multiple levels within the discipline and is determined by assessed job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training. It also factors in market demands and business needs. The disclosed range is not adjusted based on location and may be subject to change or modification based on business needs in the future. Your recruiter can answer any questions about new hire total compensation during the hiring process.
