Sr Consultant: Data Science and AI

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Consultant AI to support the development of cutting-edge, AI-driven solutions for Skilling and Micro-entrepreneurship in our Genie AI platform. This person will be responsible for ideation, concept development, testing, and development of AI tools that drive jobs fulfilment and jobs growth. The Senior Product Manager will report into the Director of AI and collaborate with members of the Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance in the areas of Data Science, AI, and Generative AI.
  
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  
• Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and project status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

Required Skills and Experience

Technical Skills

• Programming: Expert proficiency in Python, FastAPI, Streamlit, Flask, and Pandas (mandatory).
  
• Machine Learning: Proven experience in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Speech Recognition, and Computer Vision.
  

Generative AI Experience

• Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks such as Lang chain and Llama Index (mandatory).
  
• Large Language Models (LLMs): Extensive knowledge of open-source and API-based LLMs (mandatory).
  
• RAG Agents: Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) agents (mandatory).
  
• Agentic Frameworks and Orchestration (Lang Graph, Crew AI, Llama Index Workflows, etc.) (good to have)
  
• LLM-Ops (good to have)
  

Leadership & Collaboration Skills

• Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  
• Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with engineering teams and other cross-functional groups.
  
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
