Summary
The Data Analytics Manager will handle business and project issues proactively and escalate as appropriately to the Senior Team. The Data Analytics Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships with relevant stakeholders, delivering on request for analysis. The Data Analytics Manager will work collaboratively to assist in the design and implementation of analysis to answer challenging business questions. This role is responsible for leading a team that has the abilities to collaborate across the business to provide strategic analytical input.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
- Design and build technical processes to address business issues.
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
- Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.
- Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
- Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
- Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
- Offers tailored support and development for team members with varying reporting and analytics experience.
- Responsible for continued implementation of report automation and distribution through provided resources.
- Partner with business units to support opportunities to streamline current processes and provide solutions to increase overall productivity.
- Gather and analyze data for potential business expansion, identify specific business opportunities.
- Influence stakeholders to support business projects.
- Develop and maintain a strategic network across the organization which can be utilized to successfully drive projects.
- Consulting on areas of uncertainty to promote optimal use of ideas derived from data.
- Support Senior Management Team and Directors with in-depth reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Education and/or Experience – Experience using PowerQuery and PowerPivot. Experience with big data, business Intelligence (BI), or predictive modeling. Proficient in Tableau experience to include all support functions. Experience with other interactive visualization software. Basic troubleshooting experience with Power Automate. Experience creating and maintaining resources in Microsoft Forms. Proving experience creating data-driven knowledge that promotes profitability. Bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, finance, econometrics, statistics, or similar.
- Analytical and Reasoning Skills - Strong analytical skills and the ability to make critical decision based on a data-supported business case. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Demonstrable experience as a reporting analyst.
- Computer Skills -Excellent working knowledge of database structures, query languages, data, data integrity, data processes, and data warehouses. Intermediate knowledge of BI trends, Excel, Access, data modeling (logical and physical) and data visualization.
- Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write letters and prepare other documents as needed. Proofreads work.
- Communication Skills –- Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Vision – Ability to view documents, multiple screens, and read handwritten documents.
