Summary 

As the Financial Data Engineering & Reporting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization's commitment to the development, architecture and maintenance of our data infrastructure, ensuring seamless data integration, storage and analytic capabilities. Supporting the implementation of a simplified, streamlined data architecture, you will utilize advanced technology to drive organizational decision making that appropriately balances the customer, cost and control needs of the organization. Collaborating with key stakeholders across the org will be integral to the success of this role. 
 
 

  

Qualifications 

We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in data and reporting optimization and wants to join a team focused on building successful outcomes. As an analyst within data engineering & analytics you will assess business needs, identify future-forward data solutions, and enable confidence in data quality and governance. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, enhance, and maintain data architectures 

  • Build and maintain efficient data pipelines that clean, transform and aggregate data from disparate sources in a sustainable and scalable data function. 

  • Implement data validation and data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data. 

  • Analyze and optimize query performance, data storage and processing tasks to ensure high performance and costs efficiency.  

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions 

  • Use agile software development processes to make iterative improvements to our back-end systems 

  • Understand emerging capabilities and be forward thinking regarding their deployment and internal use 

  • Implement CI/CD processes for analytics code enabling rapid development, testing and deployment. 

  • Promote a culture of collaboration and learning across the team 

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations 

  

  

Requirements and skills: 

  • 3+ years experience in data analytics, data engineering or a similar role   

  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and schema design 

  • Strong Proficiency in Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query) 

  • Knowledge of data modeling best practices. 

  • Knowledge of Power BI development 

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms 

  • Understanding of data governance principles 

  • Exceptional ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify themes, trends and patterns across organizational products/activities and succinctly communicate findings 

  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to learn, Methodical and diligent with a high degree of attention to detail. 

  • Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or related field 


 

Annual Salary

$77,900.00 - $129,150.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
