Senior Manager, AI/ML Engineering

Job Description:
ValGenesis is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Manager of AI/ML Engineering to drive our artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives. This role will involve leading a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers in the development and deployment of innovative AI solutions that enhance our product offerings and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in AI/ML, along with excellent leadership and communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists, providing mentorship, guidance, and support in the delivery of AI solutions.
• Define the strategic direction for AI initiatives and prioritize projects aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into AI/ML project specifications.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms that demonstrate measurable business value.
• Establish best practices for model development, versioning, and monitoring to ensure reliability and performance of AI solutions.
• Conduct research on state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques and evaluate their applicability for ValGenesis projects.
• Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the AI/ML team.
• Communicate updates and results effectively to stakeholders, including senior management and technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and ethical guidelines in all AI/ML projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position.

• Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

• Proven experience in deploying machine learning models into production environments.

• Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective AI/ML services.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

• Passion for innovation in AI and a desire to remain updated on the latest trends and technologies in the field.
