Data Analyst Internship – dsm-firmenich

Location: Paris, France
Duration: 6 months (starting end of February/beginning of March 2025)

Take on an exciting internship opportunity as a Data Analyst Intern at dsm-firmenich! You will contribute to the harmonization and structuring of critical fragrance performance and stability data. This internship offers a unique chance to apply data analytics skills in a leading fragrance and chemical company while collaborating with global and regional technical leaders.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Compile and harmonize datasets and test procedures to ensure consistency.
• Curate and clean data by cross-referencing with the current ingredient palette.
• Develop a harmonized template for future studies, ensuring alignment on attributes, scale definitions, and scoring consistency across different fragrance categories.
• Create a standardized template for internal tools and screening archives to enhance data usability.

You Bring

• Education: Master 2 degree or in the final year of an engineering school.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis (Python, Excel advanced).
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience in database structuring, cleaning, and management.
• Industry Interest: Passion for chemical or fragrance industries with an inclination toward technical research.
• Soft Skills:
  • Autonomy and ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across different teams.

Internship Conditions

• Location: Neuilly-sur-Seine, France.
• Duration: 6 months.
• Start Date: End of February / Beginning of March 2025.
