We’re looking for a Marketing Analytics System Owner to join our Digital Marketing & Performance Team at our HQ in Lund.
Who is your future team?
You’ll be joining our Digital Marketing & Performance Team—a dynamic group that partners across Axis to deliver data-driven success. In this role, you’ll work closely with developers, data analysts, marketers, and other stakeholders to build a foundation of trusted data, advanced analytics, and robust measurement practices.
What you’ll do here as a Marketing Analytics System Owner:
In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining our end-to-end marketing data ecosystem. From configuring advanced GA4 measurement setups in multiple GTM containers to harnessing the power of BigQuery for deeper analytics, you’ll own the processes that ensure marketing performance data is accurate, actionable, and always at our fingertips. Your work underpins the insights driving campaign optimization, strategic marketing decisions, and continuous performance improvements.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining measurement strategies in GA4 with roll-up properties, ensuring robust tracking across various platforms and channels (including sub-domains with different setup).
- Managing multiple Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers to implement and govern measurement scripts, tags, triggers, and variables.
- Extracting, transforming, and analyzing data within BigQuery to create unified marketing datasets and dashboards that power timely, reliable insights.
- Collaborating with stakeholders (e.g., marketers, developers, finance, IT) to understand business objectives, troubleshoot tracking issues, and optimize analytics processes.
- Providing thought leadership on measurement best practices, data governance, and attribution models to enhance marketing impact and ROI.
- Champion best practices: Drive continuous improvement in measurement and data integrity, advocating for standardized processes, documentation, and governance across teams and tools.
Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking a data-driven marketing professional with a strong analytical and technical background. You excel at distilling complex measurement frameworks into actionable insights, and you’re enthusiastic about continuous optimization. Comfortable with GA4, GTM, and BigQuery, plus a working knowledge of project management tools like Jira, to build and maintain robust analytics ecosystems. You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and love collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges with data.
We love for you to have/are:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or a similar analytics-focused role.
- Deep expertise in GA4, Google Tag Manager (managing multiple containers), and BigQuery.
- Strong knowledge of measurement scripts (e.g., custom JavaScript in GTM) and best practices for data collection.
- Familiarity with data modeling, segmentation, and attribution concepts.
- Fluency in English.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with cloud-based environments such as GCP or AWS.
- Server-side GTM.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automating data processes or advanced analytics.
- Exposure to B2B marketing analytics, partner/reseller models, or sophisticated digital marketing ecosystems.
