You will be joining the Engineering function within the Cloud and Innovation Network (C&IN) division, which is dedicated to creating innovative Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and products using data science, ML (Machine Learning) and cloud technologies.

As a Lead Data Scientist within our team, you will contribute to all aspects of the project execution, from assessing the feasibility and viability of ideas through to designing and implementing them. Your key responsibilities

• Play a critical role in deploying and scaling out the Machine Learning solutions using standardised Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Training pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as well as On-Prem environments to fulfil Deutsche Bank's innovation strategy
• Build solutions / frameworks to move data from On-Prem data sources to Google Cloud Platform
• Contribute towards designing and building the MLOps framework through strong development practices and define processes towards a scalable and robust data / model pipeline
• Work collaboratively with product managers, other engineers and end-users to deliver working solutions in an Agile and Iterative manner
• Contribute to effective and efficient technical research and experiments

Your skills and experience

• Applied knowledge of Python, data science tools (pandas, scikit-learn, tensorflow) and (Big) Data tools such as SQL, Hadoop ecosystem, PySpark
• Experience of building and evaluation of applications built on LLMs and GenAI technologies
• Knowledge of Data science and machine-learning methods and models, for structured and unstructured data and DevOps best practices (git, CI/CD, test-driven development)
• Experience in guiding technical teams and working with Agile/Scrum delivery teams
• Applied knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and in particular data engineering / data science tools such as Vertex AI, BigQuery or DataProc, Natural Language Processing, Docker and Kubernetes and API (Application Programming Interface) design would be an advantage
