Puma Processing Services LLP (PEPS) established in Year 2018 represents Puma Energy’s first captive offshoring unit and is based in Mumbai, India with over 200 employees. PEPS provides the Puma Group a key advantage of centralising its core competency in services at one location and allows the group the ability to scale size to increase volumes in key areas. PEPS manages mid office and back office activities for Puma Businesses across all its business verticals like Retail, B2B, Aviation, and also enabling functions like IT & Corporate. It serves the countries, which are a part of the Africa Continent, Middle East and Asia Pacific, and further extends the support to the Puma Group in Geneva for its core activities.


Main Purpose:
 Responsible for the setup and administration of master data in multiple IT systems by adhering to processes and controls to ensure master data quality
 Develop and support the data policies, rules and standards for their respective master data domain across the enterprise
 Monitor, report and drive SLA & KPI’s for the specific Master Data domain

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Help create new & improved processes for customer/supplier master data management
  • Ensure master data objects are controlled & setup, created as per policies defined
  • Manage data policy & processes maps for the associated master data object
  • Act as a SME for a domain’s master data related questions and coordinate with IT and Business for the various system implementations
  • Partner with the Data Officer to implement rules, policies and controls to ensure master data is complete, consistent and accurate
  • Design Data quality issues to identify areas for data quality improvement and execute action plans to resolve issues
  • Implement process controls & improvements for prevention of data quality issues and integrity across key systems
  • Follow up with data owners/users to remediate data issues in order to maintain the agreed levels of quality
  • Daily capturing, uploading and controlling of data files from trading systems into accounting system  ledgers
  • Performing system integrity checks, correcting errors immediately where possible or managing the issue with IT and business teams
  • Partner with the Data Officer to implement rules, policies and controls to ensure master data is complete, consistent and accurate
  • Help design and manage Master data workflows to improve processes

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Work Experience: 

  • 3-4 years of overall experience in master data management/ static data management
  • Understanding of a multi domain (retail,b2b etc.) OTC process is a plus.

Skills:  

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major information system or any other engineering degree.
  • Understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Experience working on Enterprise Data Management platforms such as Informatica MDM etc is preferred
  • Highly proficient Personal Computer skills and technology driven
  • Extremely high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and analytical abilities

Languages:

  • Fluency in verbal and written English mandatory
