As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for shaping the strategy and direction of customer-facing products (BI Reports) that are core to the customer experience for accurate. You will be playing an advisory role to proactively voice your opinions on possibilities / risks for business asks. You will partner closely with product and Enterprise Data teams / ETL to design and build business intelligence reports for customers. 

Responsibilities:

• Should be able to understand business/product requirements, to translate them to low level designs and document
• Should have good experience in designing and developing reports for various consumption patterns (Batch, Realtime, Self Service Models, Adhoc / Interactive visualizations)
• Ability to reconcile report designs with business through wireframes / design documents
• Should be able to communicate & collaborate with product managers, scrum masters and other team members in the Agile team
• Should be able to closely work with ETL team and QA teams to deliver good quality BI product
• Should possess with good hands on SQL Query experience, handling Data Analysis, able to create a rapid prototypes in delivering ad-hoc Reports
• Should have worked integrated with various databases like Snowflake, SQL Server, MongoDB, Realtime Databases etc
• Should be able to play an advisory role while support client requests (regarding visualizations, trend Analysis, report consolidations etc)
• Should have good experience understanding OLTP, OLAP, Dimensional Data Models, and connecting tools to varied Data Models. Contribute to data design, data modelling and data extracts/transforms
• Should have good work experience in Query optimization, Dashboard Optimization techniques, story telling conepts while creating visualizations
• Should be able to quickly troubleshoot issues and provide solutions/hot fixes on priority basis

Qualifications:

• Should hold a bachelor's degree of engineering/MCA with good Academic CGPA
• Should have at least 6-10 years of total IT experience in more than 1 Business Intelligence tool

• SQL Query proficiency
• OLAP Data Models, Dimensional Data Models
• Report / Dashboard Optimization Techniques

• Cloud Platforms (AWS, Microsoft Fabric)
• Knowledge of how to improve code quality and optimizes BI processes (e.g. speed, cost, reliability)
• Solid understanding of Agile development process and software release processes.
• Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and a team player.
• Should be able to independently do Unit testing
• Should be able to do peer-peer reviews, 
• Detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication. Should be able to present/demonstrate the reports to end users
