Project Description

The team is responsible for services that process viewership and user data, conduct contextual analysis, and enhance audience profiles. These insights enable precise targeting and data-driven decision-making. The architecture includes microservices, processing pipelines, and a web application, integrating Spark, Kafka, AWS, and Airflow.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end development, from design to production;
• Implement and optimize high-scale Big Data solutions;
• Mentor and guide junior developers through complex projects;
• Contribute to platform infrastructure and architecture;
• Research core technologies and integrate with external APIs and services;
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver business-driven solutions;
• Participate in off-hours Pager Duty (additional compensation provided based on schedule);

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data engineering using Spark, Python, Java, and Scala;
• Desire to learn Clojure and adapt quickly to new technologies;
• Strong experience in Pipelines, ETLs, Streaming Systems (Spark, Kafka, EMR, EC2, Airflow);
• Experience working with SQL & NoSQL databases (MongoDB, MySQL, ElasticSearch);
• Proven ability to handle performance optimization and high-scale systems;
• Team player, strong communication skills, and an ego-free approach to collaboration;
• English proficiency from B1+ for effective communication with global teams;
