Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our team and work with one of our prestigious banking clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in the Data Science/AI domain, hands-on experience in delivering complex projects, and the ability to create detailed project plans, challenge timelines, and ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for Data Science and AI projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business needs.
• Understand and evaluate the technical implications of project requirements, providing guidance and recommendations.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, business analysts, and client stakeholders, to ensure project success.
• Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business terms.
• Lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science & Machine Learning roles
• Proven hands-on experience in Data Science and AI, with a strong technical background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms
• Experience in Data analysis, processing, and visualization tools
• Experience in Frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience in Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) will be considered as a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering Data Science/AI projects.
• Strong project management skills with proficiency in tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector is a strong advantage.
