Requirements

• Design and implement comprehensive Test Automation strategies, ensuring robust testing frameworks and methodologies with existing toolset as well as research, evaluation, and deployment of new test tools.
• Develop and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks that align with project requirements and best practices.
• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, WebdriverIO, Cypress, TestNG, Junit, Mocha.
• Extensive experience creating test frameworks for large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands on experience of agile testing methodologies and the ability to adapt testing strategies to agile development environments.
• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Hands-on experience integrating test automation into CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of automation frameworks, test cases, processes, and results to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
• Demonstrated experience in testing cloud-hosted applications, especially SaaS models, with a strong understanding of scalability, security, and performance challenges.
• Define and implement QA strategies, methodologies, and best practices for manual and automated testing.
• Work closely with stakeholders, development teams, QA engineers, and product managers to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Desired Skills & Experience:

• More than years of experience in software quality assurance, with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, WebdriverIO, Cypress, TestNG, Junit, Mocha).
• Ability to implement continuous integration and build automation systems, such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus, etc.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
• Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber andAPI testing techniques and tools.
• Experience in relational databases, such as Oracle/ SQL server and no-SQL databases, such as Couchbase/ Neo4J
• Familiarity with quality engineering principles, including shift left testing, continuous testing, and in sprint test automation.
• Experience in performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest QA tools, technologies, and trends to recommend improvements.
