Based in Korea or Singapore, the Metadata Operations Manager will report to the Director, Content & Subtitle Operations and support the broader Operations team in Singapore and Korea to ensure smooth title launches.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor the metadata operations team, setting clear objectives and performance metrics.

  • Oversee metadata and localization workflows, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely onboarding for all content.

  • Oversee localization vendors, enforce quality standards, and optimize workflows for productivity and efficiency.

  • Partner with content, product, and engineering teams to enhance metadata processes and ensure seamless delivery.

  • Manage and enhance metadata systems (DAM, CPP), and ensure data integrity.

  • Improve metadata structures for better searchability and user engagement while ensuring compliance with rights and platform standards.

  • Track performance, identify process gaps, and drive operational enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in the broadcast/media industry, with leadership experience in metadata or content operations.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale asset fulfillment in complex asset management environments.

  • Strong expertise in metadata systems, workflows, and process optimization, with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Experience managing localization vendors and ensuring high-quality metadata translations for global markets.

  • Fluent in English and Korean or Chinese, with strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro), Google Suite, and analytics/reporting tools (e.g., Amplitude, Looker).

  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills and the ability to drive operational efficiencies.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment, prioritizing tasks, and making data-driven decisions.

  • Passion for Asian dramas, especially K-Dramas and C-Dramas, is a plus!
