Opportunity

This position focuses on leveraging SAP data systems to analyze, interpret, and deliver insights that drive strategic business decisions. The role is instrumental in managing end-to-end data analysis processes, working with SAP data sources, and building scalable analytics solutions to support business objectives and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SAP data structures, advanced analytics, and visualization tools, with a proven ability to deliver data-driven insights in complex enterprise environments.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  1.  Data Analysis and Insights:
  •  Extract, transform, and analyze data from SAP systems (such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, or SAP ECC) to uncover actionable insights.
  •  Build detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  •  Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within large datasets to inform business strategies.
  2.  Data Integration and Management:
  •  Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and accessibility of SAP data across analytics platforms.
  •  Support the implementation and maintenance of data pipelines between SAP systems and enterprise analytics platforms.
  •  Assist in optimizing data extraction processes and workflows from SAP systems for enhanced efficiency.
  3.  Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  •  Develop KPI frameworks to track and monitor the performance of key business processes using SAP data.
  •  Provide periodic reports and actionable insights to stakeholders across departments.
  •  Work with leadership to translate business requirements into technical data specifications.
  4.  Governance and Data Quality:
  •  Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data sourced from SAP systems.
  •  Collaborate with data governance teams to enforce compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  •  Support the implementation of data cataloging and lineage practices within SAP systems.
  5.  Stakeholder Collaboration:
  •  Act as a bridge between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure analytics solutions align with business objectives.
  •  Train and guide business teams on using analytics tools and interpreting SAP data reports effectively.

Key Qualifications
  •  5+ years of experience in data analysis roles, with significant experience working with SAP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, or SAP ECC).
  •  Hands-on expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
  •  Proficiency in querying SAP databases using SQL or equivalent tools.
  •  Strong understanding of SAP data models, structures, and integration points with analytics platforms.
  •  Experience working with ETL processes, data pipelines, and data transformation workflows.
  •  Solid knowledge of enterprise data governance, data quality, and compliance best practices.
  •  Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred Skills
  •  Experience with SAP HANA modeling and performance tuning.
  •  Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for advanced analytics and automation.
  •  Knowledge of integrating SAP data into cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  •  Background in predictive analytics or machine learning using SAP or other enterprise data.
