Job Description
Strategic Analytics & Insights (SA&I) at NielsenIQ is an industry-leader that helps businesses understand and predict consumer behavior, empowering our clients to make informed decisions and drive brand growth. As part of our Product Leadership Neuro R&D team, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the development of new products and enhancing the capabilities of existing ones. Leveraging neuroscience and advanced analytics, you’ll address questions related to consumer preference, decision-making, advertisement effectiveness, packaging design, and more. Your primary responsibilities will include working with neuroscience and behavioral data and analyzing complex datasets to uncover insights that will guide product development. You'll also collaborate with experienced neuroscientists, data scientists, and market researchers to assist in creating research reports and thought leadership materials.

Responsibilities
- You’ll work primarily with neuroscience, behavioral, and survey data to compile, analyze, and summarize findings from complex datasets for internal teams.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product Leadership, Neuroscience, Engineering, Operations) to help execute R&D studies.
- Draft reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with operations teams to manage and track project timelines.
- Perform literature reviews on neuroscience and behavioral science topics.
- Assist in the creation of thought leadership pieces.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in neuroscience, psychology, cognitive sciences, data science, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience with research and data analysis.
- Experience with data analysis software (Python preferred).
- Proficient understanding of and experience applying statistical methods used in the analysis of complex datasets (e.g., regression, PCA, clustering, etc.).
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with an ability to translate large amounts of data into easy-to-understand presentations without the use of generative AI.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Passion for learning and applying behavioral science data to business solutions.
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $55,500-$62,727k. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
