The Data Integration team is central to GLG’s digital transformation, ensuring seamless data flow across enterprise systems to drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making. Currently, the team is focused on deploying and integrating Workday ERP, connecting key business systems such as Salesforce, Workday HRIS, and data warehouses.
We are looking for a Data Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and system integrations that ensure accurate and secure data exchange while automating critical processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with Workato or similar integration tools, as well as Workday integrations. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with a global team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and automate data integration workflows using Workato.
- Design and maintain integrations between Workday ERP and other enterprise systems.
- Build and optimize ETL processes for accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading between systems.
- Implement and manage APIs, web services, and middleware solutions.
- Monitor integration processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Ensure data integrity and security across integration points.
- Communicate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes and automate repetitive tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in data integration, ETL development, or middleware engineering.
- Proficiency with Workato or similar integration platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (Workday Studio, Prism Analytics, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and API development.
- Proficient in SQL and one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java).
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP APIs.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in global, cross-functional teams.
