Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing Data Competency Center. This role is perfect for an experienced ML specialist who can take initiative, drive technical presales, provide consulting, and lead interviews to strengthen our team. 
 
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize advanced AI/ML models, working with large language models (LLMs) and computer vision (CV). Our projects cover various domains, leveraging cutting-edge technology to solve complex problems and drive innovation.

Job Description

• Translate complex business challenges into data-driven questions or hypotheses, working closely with stakeholders to define problems that can be solved through analytics and machine learning 
• Collect, preprocess, and transform data from various sources, addressing data quality issues and ensuring it is suitable for analysis and modeling 
• Apply statistical methods, data visualization techniques, and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, driving actionable insights 
• Select, train, and optimize machine learning or statistical models to solve specific business issues, ensuring proper evaluation and validation 
• Deploy ML models in production environments, working with engineers to ensure seamless integration, real-time inference, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement 
• Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear storytelling, visualizations, and presentations 
• Stay up – to date with the latest advancements in ML, AI, and data science, exploring new algorithms, tools, and techniques to improve solutions and maintain technical excellence 
• Contribute to best practices, knowledge sharing, and process improvements in analytical data engineering, machine learning standards, and operational workflows 

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in machine learning or AI-related roles 
• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and machine learning methods such as regression modeling, feature engineering, clustering, classification, time series forecasting, and recommendation systems 
• Expertise in Deep Learning, working with neural networks, LLMs, LLM Agents, and CV 
• Expertise in evaluating and selecting the most appropriate deep learning model for a given task, including assessing model performance metrics, identifying potential biases, and comparing different model architectures 
• Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and compelling visualizations using tools such as ggplot2, Matplotlib, Plotly, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik 
• Conceptual understanding of data analysis fundamentals, including ETL, data warehousing, and unstructured data processing 
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English
