The American College of Cardiology, a 49,000-member nonprofit medical society, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of cardiovascular patients through continuous quality improvement, patient-centered care, payment innovation and professionalism.The Member Data Integrity & Reporting Associate is responsible for driving development plans and hands-on execution of the work necessary to project manage data management programs including demographic profile data collection, data quality assurance, report creation, and data analytics.
This position is based in Washington, DC where we have a hybrid work environment (roughly 40% of the time in the office).
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the member profile update/maintenance and directory projects and schedules which include
a. Work with I.T., Member Strategy, and appropriate business lines to gather and document directory and profile requirements from leadership and staff.
b. Coordinate and standardize the relevant data elements from all sources including the AMS systems, ACC.org, Vovici, ACC Chapters, and other internal and outside databases as required.
c. Contact members and practices to obtain updated information about member profiles and to match individuals with their employers.
d. Responsible for making sure data collection and published profiles adhere to ACC’s policies and procedures.
Ensure accuracy of analytical reports and member lists.
Journal Financial and Subscription Management: Revenue forecasting for JACC ensuring effective budget control, financial sustainability, and subscriber management.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration for IT Projects: Work in partnership with IT department to ensure that data analytics and migration projects align with broader technological upgrades and organizational objectives. Facilitate effective communication between the membership/data team and IT to enhance project coordination and execution.
Strategic Data System Enhancements: Evaluate and enhance data systems and processes in collaboration with IT, ensuring the architecture supports advanced data analytics and business intelligence capabilities. Drive continuous improvements in data systems to adapt to evolving business needs and technological advancements.
Assists with Dues Renewal billing program.
Provides data related training to Member Services staff as needed.
Provides lists such as NCOA list bi-monthly, Journal lists for publisher, and Member, Non- Member and lists for vendors (including DocMatter).
Work with Market Intelligence to execute a member census
Work with Market Intelligence to prepare surveys, analyze data and prepare final reports.
Create new and update existing statistical analysis reports to track membership dues performance, renewal rates, count reports, data quality control, duplicate record identification and exception reports; and other reports and analysis as required for managing an effective Member Services Department.
Present key findings to staff, members and other key constituents. Publish the census data results and provide information to Marketing and mailing list broker.
Develop a long-term plan to sustain the directory and census data. This includes working with senior director and DIT to solicit members to update their profile; working with outside organizations to acquire updated information; and providing a way to incorporate member updates and opt-outs into public directories.
Maintain relationships with other areas in the College to assure cross divisional input and support for keeping the ACC membership database clean and current.
Responsible for adhering to ACC’s Organizational Accountabilities and the Member Services Core Accountabilities. Consistently demonstrate Member Services values in all business interactions and performance. Member Services has identified the following as department values:

Assist with other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Five+ years of experience with Association Management Systems such as iMIS, Salesforce, Personify or like application is highly desired. Experience in database management, membership/fund raising systems, directories, or marketing research desirable.
Proficient with MS Office applications and Microsoft Outlook. Proficiency with SPSS/SAS/Statistical packages desirable.
Advanced SQL report writing required.
Excellent communication skills.
Salesforce experience preferred.
Power BI experience preferred.
Ability to gather data, analyze information, and prepare reports.
Must possess excellent diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with relational databases helpful.
Requires minimum supervision.
Strong analytical abilities and ability to gather data, analyze information, and prepare reports.
Able to interact with staff at all levels.
Ability to learn new systems when necessary to support changes in IT infrastructure.
Ability to address customer requests effectively and see issues through to resolution.
Creative and flexible; works effectively within a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and knack for interacting with both customers and team members. Self-directed and proactive; thinks beyond the immediate issue.
Thorough, good attention to detail and well-organized.

For this role in Washington, DC (and other high-cost of labor markets if applicable, including California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Washington) the target base salary range is: $105,000 - $125,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range based on factors including, experience, education, training, professional achievement, business need, and location. The salary ranges for other locations in the US will vary based on the local labor market; ACC’s Recruitment Team will be happy to provide more information to candidates during initial discussions.
