The team:

Analytics is part of the Strategy & Analytics department,  our internal consulting team - they’re the decision support mechanism that connects data & business insights with the rest of the organization. In essence, Analytics is a central function that exists to drive business outcomes in all corners of Jobber’s ecosystem.

Reporting to the Manager, Customer Analytics, the Senior Analyst will support analytical initiatives that drive insights into customer behavior, retention, and revenue growth. This role will ensure that teams such as Sales, Partnerships, Lifecycle Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders have the data and insights needed to make informed decisions. By combining strong business acumen with analytical expertise, the Senior Analyst will deliver custom analysis and insights that drive revenue growth and improve internal operational efficiency. The role will focus on analyzing customer trends, evaluating engagement and growth initiatives, and providing actionable recommendations to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and expansion. The Senior Analyst, Customer Analytics will:

  • Be a thorough analyst and a consultant to various GTM teams by providing data insights and analytical solutions that inform strategy, optimize decision-making, and measure the impact of key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business objectives, translate business objectives into proposed solutions (e.g. analysis, KPIs, BI, Data Science) and socialize the proposals to ensure stakeholder’ alignment & buy-in.
  • Perform hands-on deep-dives and exploratory data analysis to uncover insights, identify trends, and support data-driven business decisions.
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and success metrics to provide a clear and comprehensive view of business performance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of key strategies and initiatives through data analysis, continuously raising the bar on using domain knowledge, technical expertise, and business context to drive impact.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiency by leveraging data to uncover trends, gaps, and potential areas of improvement.
  • Support experimentation and testing initiatives by providing analytical input on experimental design, measurement approaches, and best practices to assess the impact of customer engagement strategies.

  • Solid understanding of complex relational data structures.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, enabling the creation of clear and effective data visualizations.
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience utilizing scientific analytical methods and quantitative analysis techniques.
  • Experience creating and delivering custom analytics to uncover insights that drive data-informed decisions and business growth.
  • Analytical curiosity, creativity, and flexibility, with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Strong business acumen, and a passion for storytelling using data with an ability to synthesize  complex information into simple, clear and compelling actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under data & time constraints.
  • Background in areas such as sales performance analytics, conversion analysis, partnership impact evaluation, campaign performance measurement, or customer segmentation for targeted communications would be a plus.
  • Preferably have prior experience with SaaS business models.

You should also:

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment by actively participating in knowledge-sharing sessions and seizing opportunities to engage with peers and the peer review process, contributing to the overall professional growth and development of the team.
  • Be proactive and relentless. You are comfortable seeking information independently, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results.
  • To have a strong and confident communication style. You have the ability to actively listen, empathize and consult with stakeholders, and you can take something complex and difficult and make it easy to digest.
  • Be comfortable in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment. We’re growing fast and things are changing every day - what worked yesterday might not anymore.
