Requirements

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our team! As a data scientist, you will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy machine learning (ML) models that drive business value. You will focus on building predictive models using various data science and deep learning tools and techniques, leveraging MLOps best practices.

Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with the AI team to help build complex algorithms that provide unique insights into our data using images.
  • Use agile software development processes to make iterative improvements to our back-end systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning and data science, exploring new techniques and tools.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a data scientist, with a strong foundation in machine learning fundamentals (e.g., supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks).
  • Experience with Python programming language (including libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn) is essential.
  • Deep hands-on experience building computer vision and anomaly detection systems involving algorithm development in fields such as image-segmentation.
  • Some experience with open-source OCR models.
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets and experience with feature engineering techniques is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

Optional Skills :

  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of computer vision techniques and experience with libraries like OpenCV.
  • Excellent Communication skills, especially for explaining.
