Jr. Data Scientist

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, Deploy, fine-tune and Sustain AI models – (including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning algorithms) - to solve manufacturing challenges such as defect detection, quality assurance, SOP adherence, safety, and predictive maintenance.
• Design and optimize AI models for accuracy, latency, and performance, enabling real-time applications in production environments.
• Experiment with Generative AI tools (e.g., OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face) for business-centric tasks such as automated documentation, conversational assistants, and data augmentation.
• Work closely with manufacturing, IT, and business teams to ensure AI solutions align with operational goals.

Experience

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management
• Industry certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Microsoft AI Engineer) are preferred.

General Requirements

Essential Skills:

• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Hands-on experience with computer vision libraries (OpenCV, YOLO).
• Familiarity with Generative AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, DALL-E, Hugging Face).
• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Python; additional experience with SQL is a plus
