Data Scientist - NIR Spectroscopy (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Join us as a Data Scientist specializing in NIR Spectroscopy at the earliest opportunity for an exciting and diverse role.

• You will evaluate and analyze measurement data from optical spectroscopy using statistical methods (chemometrics).
• Collaborating closely with the laboratory team, you will design experimental series and handle the necessary documentation.
• You will assist in maintaining and enhancing our internal data analysis toolchain using Python.
• Furthermore, your contributions will be vital in driving the continuous improvement of our NIR spectroscopy hardware.
• You will be the technical lead for development projects and communicate results to stakeholders.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• a completed degree in Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
• expertise in optical spectroscopy, particularly in the infrared (IR) or near-infrared (NIR) range
• experience in analyzing large datasets, preferably using Python
• willingness to work in agile teams
• a self-directed, results-oriented working style with a strong customer focus
• excellent proficiency in English and German, both spoken and written
