Our Home is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of GDSN eCommerce Data Manager. This position demands an in-depth understanding of the lineage of products and materials, coupled with the ability to lead major master data projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing attributes, lists of values, and the metadata catalog, as well as governance discussions across all levels of the organization. This role requires knowledge of the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, 1WorldSync’s Data Pool, and the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), and MS Office applications. Experience in ERP (NetSuite) is highly desirable.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain GDSN master data (e.g., Descriptions, Specifications, Marketing data, Allergen data, Nutritional data, Images, etc.) as authorized by the business. 
  • Fully manage the enterprise GS1 company prefix structure by creating new UPCs and GTINs while recommend best practices for maintenance and cleanup 
  • Work closely with the supply chain data steward to ensure alignment between ERP and GDSN platforms. 
  • Lead top-off and imaging vendor portal integrations (Kroger VIP, 1WS Product Introduction, BrandBank, IXOne/RIVIR, Syndigo). 
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of master data across business systems. 
  • Engage in projects and initiatives across various functional areas and regions. 
  • Collaborate with business units and process experts to resolve master data issues. 
  • Assist business process experts in defining standard operating procedures, process flows, and related documentation. 
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements, specifically Marketing, Sales, and Quality. 
  • Create reports in 1WorldSync to track item completeness. 
  • Develop strategies to improve business reporting and planning processes, utilizing continuous improvement across functions. 
  • Ensure data governance policies and practices are in place and communicated effectively to all stakeholders. 
  • Define and enforce data quality standards and guidelines to ensure data is accurate, complete, and reliable.  

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in 1WorldSync and GS1. 
  • Strong knowledge of ERP, NetSuite preferred. 
  • Expertise in GDSN. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Power BI report consumption. 
  • Experience in DAM or digital asset maintenance. 
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks and best practices. 
  • Experience in M&A as it relates to the acquisition or divestiture of brand company prefixes
