Are you passionate about using data and critical thinking to drive decisions? Do you enjoy troubleshooting and debugging issues and providing solutions? If yes, we are looking for someone like you to join our team.
As a SDET in this 12-months fixed-term role, you'll ensure high-quality deliverables. You'll work with cross-functional teams to maintain QA integrity for major deployments, test new features, and handle regression testing.
The successful candidate must be located in Lower Mainland, BC, where we prioritize remote work, with occasional in-person meetings for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.
What you’ll do:
Transform traditionally manual tests into scalable automation scripts.
Design, document, build and execute functional and regression automated tests.
Actively participate in Grooming/Sprint Planning sessions and work with product and development teams to define the priorities of tasks.
Configuring and maintaining test automation frameworks on multiple systems.
Working with deployment teams, resolving issues, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on testability of functional elements and product design.
Participate in reviews and discussions of specifications such as user stories and designs and provide feedback concerning completeness, accuracy, and testability.
Log Bugs in JIRA with accurate details and steps to help development pinpoint trouble areas.
What we’re looking for:
6 months to a year of test automation experience using Java, Groovy or JavaScript.
6 months to a year of experience planning, designing, developing, and executing tests.
6 months to a year of experience with TestNG, Spock Framework and/or Selenium.
Strong understanding of data structures and data manipulation.
Working knowledge of Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and JIRA.
Knowledge of common QA and SW development processes and methodologies – especially with working in an Agile environment.
Knowledge of REST APIs and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Ability to use AI prompts to accelerate automation.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift).

Annualized base pay range
$69,000.00 - $73,000.00Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
