As a Data Analyst (Customer Intelligence), you will work closely with the internal teams and cross-functional partners in the business unit of eCommerce, International and US Technology, Marketing, CX partners and Financial Services. The main purpose of this position is to provide a range of custom and standard analytical services, leveraging data and business knowledge.Reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics - Customer Intelligence, you will collaborate within the team and wider stakeholders to understand their operations, data structures, and analytical requirements to develop and enhance analytical dashboards and models to drive customer performance. More so, you will be partnering with them to create and/or recommend data driven analytics to help business make informed decisions.
What you'll do...
Work closely with cx partners, marketing, operations, product team, cross-functional business partners and external vendors to understand reporting requirements, identify gaps and assist in building data marts and cubes to enable reporting solutions
Analyze customer and survey metrics, perform exploratory data analysis with the goal to uncover trends, find root causes of forecast inaccuracies and develop innovative features that can drive additional value for customers
Solve complex data science problems using the breadth of tools available at Walmart – including problem framing, data preparation, model building, model deployment and output consumption in the form of dashboards. For e.g. Power BI,Tableau
Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling and interpreting data into a digestible and actionable format. Assist in developing automated solutions for Data Visualization & Reporting
Be the bridge between business and technical teams for the data domain, coordinating with various business and engineering teams on data quality issues and issue resolutions
Building organization-wide relationships to move initiatives forward and position ideas to enhance the likelihood for success
Ensuring reporting compliance within organization by managing data integrity and executing quality checks and reconciliation exercises to ensure accurate reporting
Contributing to the documentation, QA, and organization of our datasets
High level of attention to detail, including the ability to assess and synthesize large amounts of data
Proficient at writing SQL queries against complex databases for the purpose of data extraction
Qualifications:
Bachelors, and 3-5 years of experience. Must be local as we are now 5 days
