As the tech lead for cutting edge cloud R&D, you will take technical ownership of the domain in the company, create concepts for unique systems and mitigation techniques, perform innovative research, and work closely with customers to develop next generation cloud defenses.

Description (What you’ll do)

• Perform and technically lead innovative cloud security R&D. You’ll take part in research, development, and ideation, in a new and evolving domain in the company. This is the most impactful time to join!
• Research and develop cutting-edge technologies for mitigating cloud-based attacks.
• Work closely with customers to create new concepts, define features, and steer projects.
• Perform and technically lead 0-day vulnerability research and exploitation on cloud-based technologies.
• Actively document efforts as you go to assist yourself and others in learning from and maintaining your progress.

Requirements

Expected Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years performing cybersecurity research and/or red teaming in cloud environments.
• Experience developing in Python. Bonus: experience with AI (Research / Development / ML-Ops).
• Experience in 0-day research of large systems (with or without sources).
• Solid understanding of cloud defense methodology and techniques.
• A quick learner, ready to work in an agile, fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• A team player with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with cryptography and cryptographic algorithms will be a major plus.
• High level of written and spoken English.
• Advantage: experience leading or managing technical R&D teams.
