About the role
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is a key role in providing managers at all levels of the business with ready access to reports and data which enable them to make appropriate decisions. Working within the data and analytics team, the BI Analyst is directly involved in guiding the performance focus of all team members in a multi-site business model in Australia.
Would this describe you?
- Working knowledge of Microsoft data warehousing tools
- Understanding of SQL as well as high level skills in MS products including Excel, SharePoint, Powerpoint, and Power BI
- Proven ability to analyse data and interpret information
- Proven ability to research solutions and best practices and provide clear recommendations to Executive
- Demonstrated Hands On skills in use of reporting tools and varying presentation formats
- Demonstrated capacity to provide high level advice to the Senior Management Team, including presentations and reports
- Ability to quickly build effective and positive working relationships with staff and various stakeholders
- Advanced level of communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Highly capable in negotiating business solutions with all stakeholders
- Strong positive problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead and manage a diverse work environment to achieve performance and financial targets with defined business guidelines and government contracts.
- Degree qualified in IT or business related field with strong emphasis on data and information analysis or equivalent level of expertised gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation
- Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
