Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of 3D modeling principles and experience with software like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
  • Proficiency in AR technologies and engines, including ARKit, ARCore, and Vuforia.
  • Experience in AR development using Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms.
  • Programming experience in C#, C++, or Python, with a focus on AR/VR applications.
  • Familiarity with AR concepts such as tracking technologies, spatial awareness, and gesture-based interactions.
  • Basic knowledge of computer vision, sensor fusion, and AI-driven AR features (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Potential Project Areas

  • Developing educational AR applications for training and simulations.
  • Creating interactive AR experiences for product showcases and marketing.

Responsibilities

3D Modeling & Asset Creation

  • Develop high-quality 3D assets, environments, and character models for AR experiences using tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
  • Optimize assets for performance across AR platforms.

AR Development & Prototyping

  • Build interactive AR prototypes and applications using development platforms like Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Implement user interactions, game mechanics, and environmental interactions.

User Interface (UI) & User Experience (UX) Design

  • Design intuitive, user-friendly AR interfaces with a focus on seamless navigation and interaction.
  • Ensure accessibility and usability across different AR devices and platforms.

Programming & Scripting

  • Write clean, efficient code to implement AR features such as object tracking, gesture recognition, and spatial interactions.
  • Utilize programming languages like C#, C++, or Python, depending on project needs.

Testing & Optimization

  • Conduct user testing to identify usability issues and improve AR experiences.
  • Optimize performance to ensure smooth AR interactions across various devices.

Research & Innovation

  • Stay up to date with advancements in AR technology, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Explore emerging AR applications and contribute to R&D initiatives.

Collaboration & Cross-Disciplinary Work

  • Work closely with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate AR features seamlessly into projects.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide technical insights for creative problem-solving.
