We are seeking a Data Scientist Intern to join our Client Insights and Analysis Team. In this role, you will work alongside a team of Data Scientists, working with business-decision makers to identify challenges and objectives, explore model building opportunities, and deliver actionable insights. You will be mentored on how to explore analytical opportunities and provide your own propositions and solutions.

In this internship, you will...

• Complete a training program in the world of data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling
• Provide research design and analysis based on identified needs and analyze data sources in response to data analysis requests
• Continue to develop your Python skills by applying them to real-world data analysis
• Complete assignments and projects as assigned by your team leads

Here are some attributes that we are looking for in our next intern:

• Model the American Century Investments Winning Behaviors- Client Focused, Courageous and Accountable, Collaborative, Curious and Adaptable, Competitive Drive
• Undergraduate OR Master's student pursuing a degree within Data Science, Computer Science, or a similar field
• Familiarity with predictive modeling & machine learning
• Python proficiency
• Experience with AWS highly desired

Internship Structure:

• 10 Week Program
• 40 hours a week, between 8am-5pm.
• Location: Santa Clara, CA; Kansas City, MO; New York, NY

Additional Requirements:
