About This Role

As an AI Engineer specializing in anomaly detection from logs, you will play a key role in developing and implementing cutting-edge machine-learning solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, software engineers, and other bright AI engineers like you—you will design and deploy scalable anomaly detection models that enhance applications' reliability and security. Your expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and model optimization will be essential in driving innovation and ensuring the success of our anomaly detection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical initiatives by taking part in research, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models for log analysis and anomaly detection.  

• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and data scientists, fostering skill development and innovation.  

• Stay on track with the demanding technical roadmap and be proactive and result-driven in its adjustments.

• Design and optimize data pipelines for log ingestion, feature engineering, and model training, ensuring efficiency and scalability.  

• Evaluate and experiment with state-of-the-art ML techniques, benchmarking model performance and iterating on improvements.  

• Stay at the forefront of AI research, applying the latest advancements in anomaly detection and log analysis to enhance system capabilities.  

• Establish and enforce best practices in coding, model deployment, and quality assurance to ensure high-quality deliverables.  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.

• Proven experience (4+ years) in machine learning engineering with a focus on anomaly detection, log analysis, time series analysis, etc.

• Strong proficiency in programming Python along with expertise in machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, data mining techniques, and supervised/unsupervised learning algorithms.

• Experience with large-scale log data analysis, including log parsing, feature extraction, and anomaly detection.

• Proficiency in working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Elasticsearch.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
