Position Summary

The Product Manager role is responsible for the product developed within their business unit, setting the vision, and developing the roadmap to achieve it. This includes defining high-level features that are key to the product's success to ensure they deliver the expected business value.

The Demand Planning Solution Product Manager works with a wide variety of internal stakeholders — including Demand Planning, Commercial Planning, Order Management, Procurement, Finance, and IDS teams — throughout the product development cycle. The Product Manager must partner with the Product Owner to engage business stakeholders, understand their goals, and deliver valuable business outcomes. You will leverage your industry, technical, and functional experience to define and support the evolution of applications by leading internal Product and IDS partner teams to deliver solutions focused on global trends, innovation, and leading practices that generate efficiencies and business value aligned with strategic corporate goals.

A well-qualified Product Manager will have experience delivering software-based value-add solutions, managing a broad set of stakeholders, developing vision/strategy/objectives/backlog roadmaps, using Agile principles and processes, and experience with Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

  • IDS Architect for Demand Planning: Design, build, and deliver technical solutions aligned with the product technology evolution roadmap.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of the IDS product roadmap by working closely with business stakeholders, evaluating user feedback/needs, and looking at technology trends.
  • Insight and Best Practices: Source additional insight and best practices to design, plan, and scope optimal product functionality.
  • Strategy and Vision: Build the strategy and vision for Supply Chain Solution Line products to improve business efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Present ideas with supporting data to align the technical team, leadership, and stakeholders to a compelling vision for the product’s success.
  • Technology Innovation: Proactively maintain knowledge of technology innovation.
  • New Ideas and Propositions: Work closely with relevant business functions to develop/test new ideas and propositions for product development to influence and obtain buy-in.
  • Business Value Identification: Continuously identify business value in alignment with strategic priorities, financial benefits, and stakeholder needs.
  • Value Articulation: Articulate the value of the product through usage, standard/automated operational metrics, and financial performance metrics.
  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and maintain IDS product strategy and vision.
  • Product Roadmap Translation: Translate product strategy into a product roadmap, identifying and generating new ideas that drive business value and improve user experience.
  • Technology Enablers/Constraints: Work closely with other IDS Architects and development teams to understand the technology enablers/constraints for new product ideas.
  • Communication: Ensure strong ability to communicate priorities, developments, and changes to stakeholders across the business, understanding the audience and appropriately delivering the message.
  • Iteration Goals: Set and communicate iteration goals and content of prioritized stories.
  • Vendor Engagement: Engage with other software technologies and vendors to understand new capabilities and functionality for potential enhancements.
  • Funding Model/Business Case: Build funding models/business cases for new product development.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to drive innovation and decision-making.
  • Product Backlog: Support the Product Owners in prioritizing the product backlog for development.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Act as an IDS subject matter expert for development teams providing additional product insight as needed/requested by the Product Owners.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other IDS Product Managers to refine and prioritize the overall product roadmap and identify dependencies.
  • Outcome Tracking: Set goals for product outcomes and metrics, then closely track solutions to ensure they are achieving the expected results.
  • Industry Knowledge: Bring industry knowledge; look ahead and determine what should be considered for implementation to better serve stakeholders.
  • Communication and Influence: Quickly gain the confidence of the business and colleagues through good communication and influencing skills, acting as an advocate of the Product Management team both externally and internally.
  • Incident Communication: Communicate critical business-impacting incidents to leaders in a timely manner and ensure they are communicated in business language; provide cross-functional team coordination to remediate critical issues and ensure ongoing status is communicated and contingency options that best support the business are provided.
  • Team Leadership: Ensure effective leadership and management of the team and individuals; maintain a continuous learning environment, set clear objectives to ensure clarity on what needs to be achieved for any given initiative.
  • Upskilling/Training: Work with HR to develop upskilling/training opportunities to build and maintain a high level of skills proficiency in the team.
  • Coaching and Development: Offer a supportive coaching style, proactively encouraging personal and professional development and achievement in direct reports.
  • Team Environment: Build an effective and motivational team environment, aligning behaviors, values, and performance expectations across the team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Communication Bridge: Function as a communication bridge and work culture between users located in Mexico, USA, Italy, and New Zealand.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years in corporate technology environments working with multiple disciplines to deliver projects in line with Business strategic goals
  • Proven delivery excellence in successfully managing multiple complex projects at a global level
  • Minimum of 7 years of technology experience in Supply Chain and Operations areas delivering planning solutions
  • Demand planning, commercial planning, S&OP and S&OE business process knowledge/experience is required
  • Working knowledge of supply chain planning systems such as Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, SAP, O9, SAP IBP and Integration Solutions
  • 7+ years of Demand Planning use and/or configuration experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Food and Beverage Industry knowledge/experience
  • Project Management / Agile Certification
  • O9 Demand Planning configuration experience
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Machine Learning Concepts and Principles
  • Generative AI Concepts and Application
  • Spanish fluency is a plus

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Must be able sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and work on a computer for extended periods. 
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.

  • Expected to travel approximately 20% percent of the time to our offices and offsite meetings

The salary range for this role is:

$95,500.00 - $201,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.  At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
