About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Data Engineer with a strong background in graph databases and data analysis to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data and preparing it for AI/ML applications by building robust knowledge graphs. These knowledge graphs will serve as the foundation for our AI/ML engineers to build, train, and deploy cutting-edge models. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering and artificial intelligence, making a significant impact on our data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Graph Database Management:
  • Design, build, and maintain graph databases using Neo4j and Amazon Neptune.
  • Utilize query languages such as SQL, Cypher, and SPARQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Data Analysis & AI Readiness:
  • Analyze complex datasets and transform raw data into structured formats that are ready for AI/ML modeling.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive knowledge graphs to support model training and deployment.
• Collaboration & Integration:
  • Work closely with AI/ML engineers to understand their data requirements and ensure the knowledge graphs meet these needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and business analysts, to integrate insights and support decision-making processes.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in graph database technologies, data analytics, and AI/ML to continuously enhance our data pipelines and systems.

Essential Requirements (Technical & Soft Skills):

• Python: Proficient in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
• AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services to support scalable data solutions.
• Financial Domain Experience: Previous experience in the financial sector is essential to understand and cater to industry-specific data requirements.
• Graph Databases & Query Languages: Practical experience working with Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, and query languages such as SQL, Cypher, and SPARQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
