About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst who is enthusiastic about shaping and maintaining a robust and scalable data platform. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with various teams across the organization to bolster business strategies and enhance decision-making processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in solving numerous business challenges through the creation of meticulously designed dashboards and reports.
Responsibilities-Data Modeling: Develop and take ownership of data models that underpin our business intelligence solutions. -SQL Proficiency: Write, understand, and troubleshoot intricate SQL statements, leveraging your deep knowledge to analyze data, uncover anomalies, and address performance bottlenecks. -Reporting Solutions: Design and implement pragmatic solutions for complex reporting needs, applying data modeling techniques and industry best practices to enable self-service and automated reporting. -Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough requirements gathering and analysis to ensure the delivery of tailored and effective business intelligence solutions. -Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain a diverse range of reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like PowerBI and other reporting platforms. -Information Automation: Create personalized reports and alerts, streamlining information delivery to both management and technical teams. -Business Insight Gathering: Understand and gather business needs for data insights that empower informed decision-making. -BI Tool Development: Craft engaging dashboards and reports within various BI tools. -ETL Development: Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes in various cloud solutions to ensure data integrity and accessibility. -Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI data sources for enhanced performance, usability, and interpretability.
Competencies
-Database Expertise: Possess a strong knowledge of SQL, DAX, and M language to effectively work with data.-Python Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis.-Data Storytelling: Grasp the concepts of data storytelling to convey insights clearly and effectively. -Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills in English (B2+ level) to interact and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. -Excel Mastery: Showcase an expert understanding of Microsoft Excel. -PowerBI Prowess: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in PowerBI for report creation and visualization, including mastery of data integration and transformation using Power Query. -DAX Wizardry: Prove your ability to write complex DAX metrics for robust data analysis. -Data Integration: Be well-versed in methods and best practices for combining data from various sources, importing, and transforming data using Power Query. -Cloud Data Warehouses: Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, and Amazon RedShift is a plus. -Bonus Skills: Previous experience with Elasticsearch/Kibana is an added advantage.
Qualifications: 
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline. -Minimum of 4 years of experience in BI development, including the construction of dashboards and reports using BI tools like PowerBI. -At least 4 years of experience in data analysis using SQL.-Proven track record in optimizing data visualizations for improved performance, usability, and ease of interpretation.
