THE WORK:
- You'll collect and organize data from various sources, including project management systems, budgets, schedules, and progress reports, ensuring alignment with owner priorities.
- You'll develop and maintain secure and efficient databases to store and manage project data. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across all project datasets to maintain reliability for the owner.
- You'll analyze project performance data to identify trends, patterns, and variances that could impact owner objectives. Develop dashboards, charts, and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost, schedule, risk, and resource utilization.
- You'll provide actionable insights to the owner and stakeholders to enhance project efficiency and mitigate risks. Present data-driven recommendations to support owner-driven decision-making processes.
- You'll track and monitor project KPIs, including budget adherence, schedule compliance, and resource productivity, to ensure alignment with the owner's objectives. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports tailored to owner requirements, highlighting project performance and areas needing improvement.
- You'll identify potential risks by analyzing historical data and ongoing project metrics that may affect owner interests. Recommend risk mitigation strategies based on data trends and scenario analyses to safeguard project delivery.
- You'll assist in developing predictive models to forecast outcomes such as cost overruns, schedule delays, or resource constraints. Utilize advanced tools and techniques, including data analytics platforms, business intelligence tools, and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI).
- You'll collaborate with project managers, schedulers, cost managers, and other stakeholders to ensure data insights are actionable and aligned with owner objectives. Support cross-functional teams with data-related needs, ensuring accessibility and relevance for decision-making. Act as a bridge between technical teams and owner stakeholders, translating complex data findings into practical recommendations.
- You'll recommend improvements to data collection, storage, and analysis processes to align with industry best practices and owner needs. Stay updated on emerging technologies and practices in data analytics relevant to construction projects.
- You'll document data processes, methodologies, and findings to provide transparency and support continuous improvement for future projects. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all data management activities, safeguarding owner and project confidentiality.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field, OR equivalent relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within construction or mission-critical data center projects.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, or R.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of construction processes, project controls, and KPIs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills to present data findings clearly to non-technical owner stakeholders.
- Experience with project management systems (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore) is a plus.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards is preferred.
